Do we feel more lonely at home, or thousands of miles from where we live?
Elsewhere, loneliness may seem more bearable, and distance is a rational explanation for the absences we feel...
Elsewhere, certain little-traveled roads seem never-ending... The traveler then wonders if it's possible, as he continues on, to find a place from which he can take a distanced look at what has taken him so far from home.
And then, as the miles go by, he resigns himself to the idea that, even at the other end of the world, he won't be able to escape from his reality...
