DAILY SNAPSHOT: Street Art

I love painted walls, whether they adorn the prehistoric caves of the Périgord or reveal (and awaken) the streets of Paris or elsewhere...
I've scoured the 13th arrondissement of Paris so that you can discover the 'protected' works of many artists (see the Street Art section of the site), but I also have photos of works in my archives, some of which have unfortunately disappeared and which I'd like to show you here...

17 septembre 2023 : Trompe l'oeil

Trompe-l'oeil is one of the earliest forms of Street Art... In Paris, they were used to embellish windows that had been condemned to pay less tax... I like these two trompe-l'oeil, a cross between expressionist painting and cubism, signed T.M 98, which I saw on Rue Cremieux in the 12th arrondissement of Paris ...
