The Clichy-Batignolles-Martin Luther King Park

The Clichy-Batignolles park was opened in 2007 and is still under construction. It is located on the grounds of the former Batignolles station and has been designed with a view to sustainable development with a carbon footprint close to 0. It has provided a suitable framework for the proposed installations, including Friedrich van Schoor's SPIDER PROJECTION V2 and Tarek Mawad, which presents, on the premises of the park's future restaurant, a giant spider "that runs in circles and offers a worrying vision of a sudden oversized and menacing nature".
